Action of The Day #4: Be Prepared To Be A Lifeline

Read through Signs Of Human Trafficking
Take the time to familiarize yourself with the signs of possible human trafficking so that you can be alert to red flags that might indicate a human trafficking situation.
If you work in health or social services or law enforcement, read and download indicators of human trafficking specific to your field, and other job related resources, provided by U.S. Health and Human Services.
If you are in education, assessment tools and resources are available through the U.S. Dept. of education and other sources here.


Registration Open For 3rd Annual Conference on HT

Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Conference on Human Trafficking: “Slavery Shall Not Exist.”
Guest speakers include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, Fresno Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force, and the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division.
This conference is recommended for victims service providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, legal service providers, refugee resettlement agencies, immigration advocates, social workers, mental health professionals, faith based leaders and organizations, and trafficking survivors.
