Bringing the Central Valley together to end human trafficking in our communities- Feb. 19-26, 2012

About Freedom Week

Central Valley Against Human Trafficking and Central Valley Justice Coalition presents the Fresno area’s first Freedom Week: End Slavery In The Central Valley, February 19-26, 2012.
Freedom Week is a powerful opportunity for the community to take a visible stand in our community and declare that slavery of any kind is unacceptable.(See Slavery Exists Here)
Throughout the week, there are events to educate, equip, inspire, and give opportunities to act, as we seek to bring freedom to those impacted by modern slavery and bring holistic and lasting change in our communities so that slavery can no longer exist. IN addition to the events on our flyers are trainings, other movie screenings, and events added by our partner groups.
We desire the involvement of churches, groups, and individuals in Freedom Week.
We encourage all churches to designate February 26 as Freedom Sunday and for other faith groups to also set aside their day of worship to focus on human trafficking. See our church/group participation guide.
We are also looking for volunteers to join our Freedom Week team.
Please contact us at for more information, questions, and requests to get involved or contact Central Valley Justice Coalition by phone at 559-725-1865.
